Born in Treviso in 1979, Salvatore graduated with honours in Industrial Design from the IUAV of Venice in 2003. His thesis was selected at the “XX Compasso d'Oro”, instituted by the ADI (Association for Industrial Design) of which he has been a member since 2004.
That same year, he began working as a freelance designer and immediately obtained important International recognition for the design of a broad array of products: from fashion accessories to furniture complements, from lighting to equipment for the theatre industry.
Among the honours he has been awarded are: the “Targetti Light Art” (2006), the “Showtech Award” (2007) and the “PLASA Awards for Innovation” (2007).
He works in industrial design and as a design consultant, applying his broad knowledge of materials and of innovative industrial processes, which allows him success in the search for stylistic simplicity, exalting the emotional aspects of unique designs as well as series.
He works with prestigious companies, among which: Alivar, Bosa Ceramiche, Gruppo Manfrotto, Flos, Horm, Midj, Pallucco. Since 2009, he has been the Design Manager for Dorsal.
